Of circular, peaked form, etched overall in geometrical panels, each depicting an armed and armored knight, with vegetal borders. Studded around the periphery, with rolled and roped border. The center spike with wrought eight-petaled boss. Purchased by John Woodman Higgins from the atelier of Ernst Schmidt, Munich, in 1930. Latter 19th century. Diameter 59.6cm. Condition I
