Likely produced in the Ottoman court workshop. Mounted entirely in exceptionally finely engraved and nielloed silver. The rare, double-edged, blade with central fuller wrought of fine and actively-grained black wootz. In its en suite silver scabbard, superbly engraved and nielloed. Latter 19th century. Blade slightly loose. Overall length 49.8cm. Condition III
