Of characteristic form, the intricately-carved ebony grip with applied profiled and heavily gilded plaques. The silver forte engraved en suite, the heavy, single-edged blade inlaid with silver. In its rare, carved wooden scabbard with long silvered and fluted locket, chape and matching stylus intact. Mid-19th century. Mounts with minor rubbing. Overall length 26.5cm. Condition III
