Description
A Garo Naga form very seldom encountered and known as a Mil-Am, well-wrought from a single piece of steel, the straight tang with spatulate pommel, the heavy blade obliquely angled at the forte, then straight and double-edged with a broadened and cusped tip. The guard composed of a steel rod passed through a punched aperture in the tang and fitted with a wooden finial at either side and embellished with hair. 19th century. Worn. Overall length 75cm.
