The work of a master. Of characteristic circular form, the wooden core bound in leather, the obverse elaborately embellished with brass mounts and complex geometrical brass studded motifs. The central brass boss fitted with a long, removable brass spike as is typical. The reverse signed by the maker with a D over a thistle in brass studs. 20th century. Diameter 50.8cm. Condition I
