Of classic form, the grip with horsehead pommel, finely inlaid with scrolling vegetal motifs. The broad, double-edged blade of pattern-welded damascus steel with silver inlay decoration. In its steel and silver-inlaid scabbard. 20th c. Possibly produced for the Delhi Durbar of 1936 at the accession of King George VI which was ultimately canceled. Minor wear. Overall length 25.4cm. Condition I
