Description
A large example with antler grips, the bolsters and reinforces elaborately inlaid with gold, the blade wrought of fine wootz. In its velvet-covered wooden scabbard. Early 20th c. Scabbard well worn. Likely produced for the Delhi Durbar of 1936 at the accession of King George VI which was ultimately canceled. Overall length 37cm. Condition II
