Description
Early Qing Dynasty, the grip of a single large section of pale jade with pierced and gilded ferrule, the long, straight, double -edged blade of jian form inscribed at the forte with several characters. In its polished green rayskin over wooden scabbard with profiled and pierced gilded mounts en suite with the grip. C. 1800-1850. Overall length 37.4cm. Condition II
