Description
The teakwood scabbard with elaborately embossed and chased silver mounts set with turquoises, lapis and corals. The robust blade with makers mark and hardened edge, showing layered construction, with horn grips and pommel en suite with the scabbard mounts. Retains its elephant chopsticks. C. 1870. Very slight wear. Overall length 33cm. Condition II
