An exceptional example made from a large branch of staghorn, the obverse polished smooth and finely incised overall in complex geometrical and talismanic motifs stained in red, green and black. With separately-applied spout and functioning cutoff, and iron suspension lugs as is typical. Beginning of the 18th century. Light wear. For similar see B.
