Of characteristic form, wrought entirely of silver and elaborately engraved overall in characteristic motifs, the pommel reverse engraved with the name of the presentee, AHMED DHABA . Set with pale red stones in high karat-gold settings, with further high-karat gold appliques. The blade elaborately etched and enameled. With its finely woven cord terminating in knotted tassels. Together with an enameled and gilt medal with the Moroccan crest, in its fitted, satin-lined case. First half of the 20th c. Light wear. Overall length of case 49.5cm. Condition II
