French work, the bronze hilt very finely modeled with foliate motifs, the grip bound in twisted silver wire. The blade long and straight, of triangular section with a finely etched panel at the forte on each side. 18th century. Light wear, grip wrap slightly loose. Age darkening. Overall length 86.6cm Condition III
