An excellent and exceptionally large example of Visayan work. The broad, handforged blade of characteristic form, the hilt with ferrule and pommel of finely profiled silver. The grip a single section of dark horn well carved in relief, comprising compartments of floral vines and strapwork. Late 19th-early 20th c. Overall length 64cm. Condition III
