Description
With large, mushroom-shaped pommel, the guard forged of bars and pierced, profiled panels, with wooden grip. The long, double-edged blade of flattened lenticular section throughout with rectangular forte. Late 18th century. Hilt with minor pitting, blade with areas of deep pitted and wear, grip wrap lacking. Overall length 96cm. Condition IV
