The hardwood stock of characteristic form with curved butt, bound entirely in leather and iron plaques, retaining its silver-mounted leather match case. With iron trigger and match holder, the barrel brands of intricately-wrapped hide, the barrel with profiled pan, retaining its embossed silver pan cover and the fine wooden bipod with long, iron tips and hide sling. 19th century or earlier. Overall length 143cm. Condition III
