Description
The grips carved with Persian nobility in polygonal cartouches with dentated borders. The blade wrought of fine Persian black wootz with panels of gold-inlaid foliate work around the tang, bolster and either side of the forte. First half of the 19th century. Very minor wear. Overall length 32cm. Condition II
