The hilt elaborately inlaid with silver. The fine blade well-wrought of wootz, bifullered and inlaid at the forte with a lions head in silver at the forte. In its velvet-covered wooden scabbard. First half of the 19th century. Silver rubbed, velvet heavily worn. Overall length 39.4cm. Condition III
