Daghestan workmanship, the grips of polished antler and horn. The straight blade with triple fullers to each side, made by well-known Caucasian smith OSMAN, and so struck at the obverse forte. In its matching velvet-covered wooden scabbard with silver mounts finely engraved and nielloed. Latter 19th century. Velvet worn. Overall length 60.5cm. Condition II
