The hilt of brass engraved in geometrical motifs, the elegant steel bolster and forte of the blade gold inlaid. The straight, single-edged blade with clipped tip forged of finely-patterned black Persian wootz. In its wooden scabbard with elaborately embellished brass mounts. Early 19th century. Overall length 26.5cm. Condition II
