Mughal work, the characteristic hilt with disk pommel finely inlaid overall in silver, the broad, straight, single-edged blade with evidence of pattern-welded damascus steel forging, inscribed at the right forte with a name (?) NUSR KAR NABIA (?) In its velvet-covered wooden scabbard. 19th century. Minor wear, chape replaced. Overall length 93.1 cm. Condition III
