The hilt mounts of steel, lavishly inlaid with gold, the grips of polished bone. The lightly curved actively-patterned wootz blade single-edged and elaborately inlaid with gold at the forte and on either side. In its velvet-covered wooden scabbard. Likely made for the last Delhi Durbar. 20th century. Overall length 85cm. Condition II
