With polished horn grips and characteristic iron pommel and steel guard showing faint wootz pattern. The fine, long, broad blade of shallow curvature with a broad and narrow fuller, forged of fine Persian wootz. In its embossed leather-covered scabbard with iron mounts. Latter 18th century. Minor wear, areas of pitting to blade. Overall length 97.7cm. Condition III
