With steel pommel and guard, the grips of dark horn with wire wrap to base. The long, broad lightly curved Persian blade chiseled at the forte with a vinework panel, and wrought of granular wootz. In its leather-covered scabbard with steel suspension bands and hide chape. 18th-19th century. Well worn overall. Overall length 97cm. Condition III
