With well-wrought hilt, the faceted grip of horn with flared pommel, ferrule and band, all of profiled and pierced brass, the guard likewise of brass in the form of the Philippines eagle surmounting a shield. The straight, heavy blade with long clipped tip. In its leather scabbard with profiled brass mounts en suite with those of the hilt. First quarter of the 20th century. Overall length 43.6cm.
