With polished horn grips and characteristic iron pommel and well-engraved en suite silver pommel and guard. The fine, long blade of shallow curvature wrought of fine Persian black wootz. In its velvet-covered scabbard with pierced silver mounts. Latter 18th century. Minor wear, areas of faint pitting to blade. Overall length 93cm. Condition II
