Likely Circassian work, the slender, hardwood stock bound in fine black morocco leather, the miquelet lock finely wrought and finished, with an inlaid signature panel reading, ABDALLAH (?) The mounts finely executed in silver, the butt a single large section of tusk. The rifled barrel with swamped muzzle. Retains its ramrod with profiled tip. First half of the 19th century. Minor wear. Overall length 124cm. Condition III
