A massive example, the fine steel pommel cap and guard with expanded terminals thickly inlaid overall with silver and gold in flowering vine motifs. The antler grips with turquoises set in silver. The broad, moderately-curved blade forged of fine, actively-patterned Persian black wootz. 17th-18th century. Overall length 96cm. Condition II
