Description
Highly valued by the Moro Peoples. Of characteristic form, with molded muzzle and breach. On its rare original four-wheeled bronze carriage. Well-patinaed. C. 1700-1800. Well worn, minor losses. Such cannon were popular throughout Borneo and the Moro lands, where they were used in battle, on shipboard, on the rails of longhouses to repel pirates, and as part of the dowry.
