Likely made at Mazar-i-Sharif, the wooden stock inlaid with mother of pearl plaques, the Persian barrel with flared muzzle showing a faint twist pattern. With tribal and embellishments typical of the Second Afghan War period, including brass appliques to the butt. 1850-1880. Triggerguard a period replacement. Overall length 53.5cm. Condition II
