A late Qing Dynasty jian, the mounts of engraved brass with reeded hardwood grip. Blade of flattened diamond section with central ridge. In its scabbard covered in dyed rayskin. Second half of the 19th century. Minor wear overall. Overall length 44cm. Condition III
