Mughal work, a massive traditionally used for executions. Steel hilt with intricate silver inlay, broad, robust blade appears to be pattern-welded damascus steel. In its wooden scabbard with velvet covering and steel suspension band decorated in silver en suite with the hilt. Early 20th century. Minor wear. Overall length 94.5cm. Condition II
