Description
An early example, characterized by a thicker bowl, showing evidence of wootz forging, and incised with geometrical decoration, a top spike of flattened diamond section, larger plume tubes and a heavier nasal bar than typically found on later types. The camail likewise consistent with older examples, wrought of riveted and solid rings. 17th century. Lightly pitted overall. Overall height 55cm. Condition III
