Description
A rare example of Hijazi type, known as a Dharia, the horn grip mounted in filigreed silver, the wooden scabbard mounted ensuite, almost entirely covered in silver filigree and set with a red glass gem. The blade broad, lightly curved and double-edged with shallow fuller. Retains its original embroidered leather belt. 19th-20th century. Minor areas of wear. Overall length 61.8cm. Condition II
