Likely Flemish, a large example with well-wrought steel hilt of characteristic form with brass wire grip wrap and ferrules. The long, double-edged blade of flattened hexagonal section with short fuller at either side of the forte. Mid 17th century. Areas of light pitting to blade. Overall length 105.5cm. Condition IV
