Of characteristic form, well-wrought of steel, the faceted skull with elongated peak and applied visor, the whole heavily gilt. 19th-20th century. Some wear to gilding. Height 30cm. Possibly made for the 500th anniversary of the Ottoman conquest of Constantinople in October 1953. Condition III.
