Likely Maguindanao work, with carved hardwood kakatua-form pommel and rattan-wrapped grip. A single baca-baca retains the substantial blade forged with a separate ganja. Engraved and handwrought showing possible damascus forging. In its carved wooden scabbard. Late 19th-early 20th century. Losses to pommel and scabbard. Overall length 75cm/ 29.5”. Condition II
