Of characteristic hemispherical form with long top spike, nasal bar and plume tubes, finely chiseled with festoons of flowers and vinework, heightened with bands of gold inlay, the broad borders containing Arabic inscriptions. Retains its camail of iron rings with pointed termini. Mid-19th c. Losses to mail. Height including camail 59cm/ 23.25”. Condition III
