Very finely wrought, entirely of copper, with hammered bowl and applied visor and neckguard, and hinged earpieces in the form of finely-detailed wings beneath a pair of large rosettes. The applied copper crest with arched corbels retaining its fine peacock feathers. Well patinaed overall. Latter 19th century. Minor wear. Overall height 30.2cm/ 11.88”. Condition II
