Description
Daghestan work, the slender, handsomely-grained hardwood stock of characteristic form, the steel parts, including the lock, lock screws, trigger and barrel tang lavishly inlaid with gold, the but mount finely executed in silver. The rifled, heirloom barrel with beaded muzzle and breech finely inlaid with gold, and wrought of superb pattern welded damascus steel. First half of the 19th century. Uncleaned, minor wear. Overall length 135cm/ 53.14”. Condition III
