Description
Worn over the shoulder by an aristocratic warrior, for use with the famed Omani matchlock musket. Comprising a leather belt elaborately mounted in silver with profiled buckle, supporting eight conical powder chargers of brass, each mounted in engraved silver, some retaining original plugs, each secured by silver chains to the belt, together with a priming flask. 19th century. Worn, minor losses. Overall length 125.5cm/ 49.5”.
