Description
The grip of ironwood, finely-carved with aso motifs and retaining its intricately-woven wrap and hair ornaments. The handforged blade with expanded tip chisel-edged and convex on the reverse. In its carved wooden scabbard with hair ornaments, retains its rare pisau raut knife with carved antler mounts. Early 20th century. Minor wear. Overall length 71cm/ 28”. Condition II
