Of blond-brown pressed horn with fluted cap, superbly carved with a sun in splendor bordered by stars, birds and flowers to one side and a moon surrounded by flowering vines and a distinctive 10-pointed star to the either, each contained in a vinework cartouche, the spout-end with geometrical profiling. 1700-1800. Minor worming. Overall length 26.4cm/ 10.4”. Condition III
