Description
Maguindanao work, well-carved hardwood kakatua pommel, the grip with silver bands and fiber wrap, with baca-baca intact. The substantial waved blade with separately-applied ganga, showing active forging and hardened edges. In its wooden scabbard with rattan bands and silver tip. Late 19th- early 20th century. Minor wear. Overall length 71 cm / 28" . Condition II
