The gilded hilt with boat-type guard with raised rim and partly raveled silver wire wrap. The fine, straight, single-edged blade with broad fuller deep fuller, blued and gilt for approximately half its length. Hilt gilding worn, minor wear to blade. Early 19th century. Overall length 91.5 cm / 36". Condition II
