Of characteristic hemispherical form with russet finish, top spike, adjustable nasal bar, and plume tubes, embellished with well-engraved Persian warriors hunting among bands of flowering vinework, the broad borders containing Arabic inscriptions. Retains its camail of rare riveted rings with pointed termini. Mid-19th century. Losses to mail. Height including camail 60cm/ 21.25". Condition III
