The heavy, handforged head of crescent form with faceted poll, inlaid with brass and engraved in geometrical motifs and struck with clusters of maker’s marks. On its wood haft. Mid-19th century. Head with sharpening marks, haft abraded and rubbed. Overall length 78.1 cm / 30 3/4". Condition II
