Tanjore work, the hilt of characteristic form, with considerable remains of gold inlay. The straight, double-edged blade divided at the center and deeply serrated along each edge, showing evidence of damascus forging. 17th century. Generally worn, blades with minor pitting. Overall length 50 cm / 19 3/4". Condition III
