Epirot work, the grip carved from a single section of figured walrus, the bolster engraved and gilded, the blade of characteristic form, slightly-recurved, single-edged and wrought of dramatically-patterned Persian black wootz. In its fine silver scabbard, engraved throughout with flowering vinework in cartouches. Latter 18th century. Minor wear overall. Overall length 32.1 cm / 12 1/2. Condition II
