Description
Qajar Dynasty, of steel finely chiseled with intricate panels of foliage alternating with bands of gold and silver inlaid vinework in a spiral pattern and subsequently set with 22 large cabochon stones including carnelians and agates in silver settings around the periphery, with four bosses and a brass rim. The reverse with patterned velvet lining. 19th century. Minor wear overall. Diameter 47 cm / 18 1/2". Condition III
