A rare example, the carved hardwood hilt of characteristic form with bands of silver wire wrap to grip and applied silver flowers, the single-edged blade straight, broad, and thick, with ogival tip. In its carved wooden scabbard with silver mounts. Mid-18th-early 19th century. Minor wear and losses. Overall length 63cm / 25". Condition II
